Estonia Has the Cleanest Air in the World

In 2012 the World Health Organisation issued a global air quality ranking placing Estonia at the very top. Thanks to Estonia's dense forests which cover almost half of the country, the forests naturally absorb pollutants and purify the air.  The forests are definitely "the lung of Estonia" which is why Estonians try to spend as much time in the countryside as they can. It's beautiful in so many ways.

I feel proud knowing Estonia has the cleanest air in the world, it's just another thing that makes Estonia so great.

Mauritius and Canada also have  excellent air quality, they ranked second and third place on the list respectively.
